Remove virus from Pen/Flash Drives

Drive Affected with Short cuts & Viruses???

Today become common practice of device affected with various type of Virus in form of malware , shortcut icon and others etc..

How to Remove Shortcuts or effected with virus files safely in fine state:


Step 1:   Identify the which drive need to cleared with affected files most probably it will be  G or H. for this case we have H drive for pen drives  or flash drives .

Step 2: got start menu , type CMD

Step 3: Type below commands in command prompt as shown :

C:\Users\Sharma>H:            -------------> here H is drive name 

H:\>del *.lnk

H:\>attrib -s -r -h *.* /s /d /l

Step 4:  You can see all affected files are free from Virus /Shortcuts for selected drives and files are safe.

Step 5: Select below 3 files and Do SHIFT +DEL to remove this  Virus files permanently
